Renaud Delorme's paintings have a strong visual impact on the viewer. His work consists of a two part process: the choice of his subject and it's graphic representation, and the use of found objects and recycled materials. Most often the artist selects photos of celebrities as his subject, personalities who enable to fuel our fantasy. First the portraits take shape by black, bold vertical lines, replicating the person they are to resemble. Then the collage of recycling materials will provide the various colours and truly bring the timeless images to life.
